Brother UK partners with Newland to showcase next generation warehouse tech at IMHX
26th of August 2022 – Culemborg, the Netherlands - The companies will demonstrate a number of applications and solutions, including LabelGenie - a new cloud-based labelling platform designed for warehouse environments.
LabelGenie is engineered to be hardware agnostic, which means firms can print multiple labelling formats, including dispatch, product identification, and barcode and location labels, from any printing device that can connect to the internet.
Brother says that the new solution will help supply chain operators print accurate labels faster, and speed up their processes by cutting down on device and labelling set-up times
The IMHX Logistics Solutions Show, taking place at the NEC Birmingham on 6-8th September, is the UK's leading intra-logistics event for professionals who are involved in the handling, movement or transportation of goods throughout the supply chain.
The partners will also showcase a simple app-based mobile scan and print solution that links Newland Android devices to Brother print devices, manufactured by supply chain solutions provider Dakota Integrated Solutions.
Brother UK provides label print and Auto-ID solutions to support businesses across the supply chain, from warehousing and distribution centres to fulfilment, sortation and the final mile. Newland builds scanning and barcode technology and distributes it across 60 countries worldwide.
"Despite the sharp growth in spending on warehousing space starting to cool, there is no doubt that companies must continue to adapt their supply chains to increase the capacity for next-day and same-day fulfilment and to build margins where they can. We know that these businesses need to improve elements of their operations to boost speed and productivity. The integrated, digital solutions we’re showcasing at the IMHX event are designed to tackle those challenges while helping supply chain professionals make progress on their digital journeys.”
Gary Morris, Senior Manager for Specialist Print Solutions at Brother UK
“The IMHX show marks a vital date in the calendar to showcase new technologies to businesses across the warehousing and logistics space, and to help them find the right digital solutions to help speed up their management and inventory processes to create new efficiencies and boost their productivity. We’re looking forward to partnering with Brother and speaking to attendees about the best end-to-end print and scan software solutions on the market.”
Peter Sliedrecht, CEO at Newland
